Of course, the screen came with a remote control, and right out of the box, the remote was able to control the screen from the very back of the room (and anywhere else in the room). I did have to search through Akia's website to find a wiring diagram, and it took a while to find one, but once I did, it was easy to connect to controller. We had an up/down/stop controller made by a different manufacturer connected to the old motorized screen, and it was (eventually) easy to connect to the new screen, and it works seamlessly. We have the screen in a (200+ seat) church and it looks great. It seems lighter than the smaller screen it replaced. I was impressed with how easy it was to hang (by myself - though it is advised to have a helper) and connect.
